Raising Star Africa Foundation Wins the 2025 Innocent Chukwuma Award for Social Impact

On Thursday, 6th November 2025, the Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF) joined changemakers, innovators, and development leaders at the 2025 IIF Annual Impact Awards — a gathering filled with powerful conversations, human connections, and bold ideas on how capital can drive both profit and purpose.

One of the most anticipated highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Innocent Chukwuma Award for Social Impact, an award that honours organisations creating measurable change in social justice, community organising, and sustainable development. The award celebrates the legacy of Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma, a visionary who dedicated his life to advancing equity and impact across Africa.

This year, the award was proudly presented to Raising Star Africa Foundation (RSAF) — a remarkable organisation empowering differently-abled and less-privileged children through education, vocational training, and disability advocacy.

RSAF’s work continues to stand as a beacon of hope and inclusion. Their initiatives — from providing educational aids and scholarships to building self-sustainability skills for children with disabilities — reflect a deep commitment to inclusive development and social transformation.

Coincidentally, ICCEF had earlier collaborated with RSAF in May 2025 during the “This Ability 4.0 – Empowering Voices” event, where three young entrepreneurs with disabilities received empowerment grants. This recognition is, therefore, a reflection of shared values and a mutual dedication to advancing inclusion and opportunity for all.

Congratulations once again to Raising Star Africa Foundation for demonstrating measurable impact, unwavering intentionality, and deep inclusivity in driving social change
