The Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Library Officer to manage and organise our dynamic library space. The Innocent Chukwuma Library, the latest legacy project of ICCEF, honours the enduring legacy of the late Innocent Chukwuma. This library stands as a testament to his lifelong passion for knowledge and education, featuring a curated collection of books he cherished, owned, authored, published, or edited. This role is essential to our mission of empowering individuals through access to knowledge, resources, and an inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Organise and maintain the library’s collection of books, research materials, and other resources.
– Assist visitors, including students, researchers, and professionals, in accessing and utilising library resources effectively.
– Ensure the library is a welcoming, quiet, and functional space for learning and study.
– Promote and support educational and empowerment initiatives aligned with ICCEF’s goals.
Qualifications:
– A degree or certification in Library Science, Information Management, or related fields.
– Excellent organisational and communication skills.
– Prior experience in a library or similar role is a plus but not mandatory.
