Award for Social Impact 2023
The second edition of the Innocent Chukwuma Award for Social Impact hosted by Impact Investors Foundations with support from Argonworks and DevEast was a success. Making impact and touching lives is synonymous with Innocent hence being honoured again Impact Investors Foundation, Argonworks, and DevEast through the award of the Innocent Chukwuma Award for Social Impact is a confirmation that Innocent’s legacies lives on. The award ceremony took place at the Impact Investors Foundation Annual Dinner and Awards held on November 1st, 2023had received several of applications and underwent rigourous reviews. The award was presented to an institution who right earned the award for the impact they have been making in their space. Women’s Health and Rights Project received this prestigious award for their work in promoting women’s rights in communities in Nigeria.
The winner went home with 1.5 million Naira, with one million Naira donated by the initiators Argonworks and DevEast, and ICCEF matching the donation with an additional 500,000 Naira. Congratulations to the winner keep making impact.
Award for Social Impact 2022
The maiden edition of the Innocent Chukwuma Award for Social Impact hosted by Impact Investors Foundations with support from Argonworks and DevEast launched a series for honouring social impactors. This innovative award recognises and honours foundations, and non-profit and civil society organisations that have delivered demonstrable and measurable impact in the areas of social justice, community organising, and sustainable development. The first winner of this award was Nkem Okocha, Founder of Mamamoni Empowerment Foundation.
The winner went home with 1.5 million Naira, with one million Naira donated by the initiators Argonworks and DevEast, and Project Alert matching the donation with an additional 500,000 Naira. Congratulations to the winner keep making impact.
