CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship (ICSIF)

The Innocent Chukwuma Social Impact Fellowship (ICSIF) is a transformative initiative launched in honour of the enduring legacy of Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma, a champion of human rights and social justice in Nigeria. This fellowship, a legacy project of the Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF), is hosted by the Lagos Business School’s Sustainability Centre and funded by the Ford Foundation.

ICSIF is dedicated to building a strong network of young social impact pioneers and social justice advocates across Nigeria. By offering a unique platform for capacity-building, mentorship, and resource development, ICSIF equips future leaders to address systemic challenges in the justice sector and foster human rights protections.

Who Should Apply

ICSIF invites applications from young Nigerians between the ages of 18–35 who are actively engaged in efforts to improve Nigeria’s justice system and address social issues through:

Social Initiatives & Enterprise: Those running initiatives that contribute to social change.

Advocacy & Activism: Human rights activists and advocates seeking justice reforms.

Research: Researchers focused on legal and social challenges.

Legal Aid & Justice System Roles: Legal practitioners, NGO programme officers, civil society advocates, and other stakeholders advancing human rights and legal aid.
